And here is Gizmo.....we have had him since January but alas he belongs to my brother Craig who is just about ready to come and get him after months of being deployed. Gizmo is twice the size of Melvin but a fraidy cat. We will miss him when he is gone.

Just visualizing reclining here............looking at my flowers, hearing the birds, feeling the refreshing breeze and the warm sunshine. It is coming I know. But for now—beautiful snowflakes falling gently on the frozen ground as it waits impatiently for the arrival of a new season.

I am what you call a perennial gardener who waits until early spring to clean off the growth from the year before. I think there is a beauty in the gray, brown and white "leftovers" from all the color plus the birds can enjoy all the seeds.
